Lostprophets was the BEST gig i’ve ever been to.
It’s not a very original title but it’s completely true and one of the only ways to describe it in a way that doesn’t beat around the bush.
I was right at the barrier with my friends, though two of those were lifted over the barrier and two went off for drinks so they couldn’t get their spot back, which left just me and zoe at the barrier.
As well as it being an amazing gig where at the end they brought on Kids In Glass Houses and The Blackout, some of the band met us before they went in the venue, after stef shouted ‘DUDE!’ at Jamie because she didn’t know his name then asked him for hair gel of all things. He was like ‘Hair gel?’.
After that, the drummer (Luke) came back out the venue to the tour bus, walking ou tof the bus with cans of pop and a bottle of sprite. We thought he was giving them to the rest of the band but he came over to us and said ‘A cold drink is probably the last thing you want right now but here you go’ because it was raining.
They are probably one of the nicest bands i’ve ever been to see.
There’s so much that happened that i should write but i’ll probably end up forgetting to put something in and then remembering later so i’d have to edit this again. So i’m going to leave you with a picture (that i stole from Zoe because i’m impatient and don’t want to wait for her to say i can have it aha but thank you Zoe anyway).
It me and my friends with Ian, Luke, Jamie and Stuart.
